 Lakeside Christian Centre has provided monthly financial support to the missionary organization MREE, (Ministry to Russia and Eastern Europe) for over 10 years. The organization’s founder and president, Rev. James Weller is an author with over 20 years of pastoral experience. Reverend Weller has a passion to see the people of this part of the world evangelized and given the tools to help them grow in their faith.  Many churches in these regions have no printed support tools for Pastors to use and often an entire congregation of a church will only have one copy of the bible. This life-changing ministry translates, prints and supplies bibles and other materials to churches in Russia and Eastern Europe in the languages of the region. Lakeside is excited to partner with this organization as they deliver the word of God to many remote locations including making the Bible available in the Roma (Gypsy) dialect for the first time! We praise God for this opportunity to ensure God’s word will reach throughout our world.
